This information was provided to the club via David Lock of the PNWMA and BCCOM and BCORMA on Februrary 27, 2009. This is NOT A POLICY, this is for informational purposes only. This is what Oasis Insurance is offering BCORMA clubs for insurance: * $5 million 3rd party liability insurance. This would cover club properties, trials events, other non-competitive events, and includes $1 million, $10,000 deductible fire insurance. BCORMA, as the Provincial Federation, purchased a $1000 Master policy. The clubs then purchase a policy under our Master policy for $5.00/member or $250 minimum + $25.00 underwriter's filing fee + $1.50/member to BCORMA to help offset the Master Policy. * Race Event insurance: (quote from Ken Anderson) We have just finalized a program with Lloyds of London that will provide $ 5,000,000 liability insurance for club race or speed events. NO limit on participants, no restriction to club members participating Terms are as follows: Comprehensive General Liability limit - $ 5,000,000 with $ 1,000 deductible Non Owned Auto - $ 1,000,000 Voluntary Medical - $ 1,000 per person, $ 10,000 per incident EXCLUDES Host liquor liability Premium calculations: - $ 300 for 1 day event, or $ 500 for 2 day event or $ 750 for 3 day event plus $ 25 policy fee per event and provincial taxes if applicable. Each event would complete a special event app (copy attached) and provide to us a MINIMUM of 3 days prior to the event or earlier if a certificate of insurance is required. |
